Termination of the ropes

The rope can be secured with a good knot or with a termination element made of thimble and a clamp. However, even if a clamp is used, we recommend securing the free end of the rope with safety knots and suitable untangling protection.

Typical rope termination using a "duplex clip"

Rope termination using a "fist-grip"

This termination is particularly suitable for thicker high strength ropes. The end is secured by a bull-dog clamp. The photo shows a premium rope 1/2" (12 mm) - Mastrant-M.
